Horn inoperative

Had this awful noise in my steering wheel when I purchased this truck (84 2wd). Pull the wheel off this morning and found somebody had put this small thread insert on top of the horn contact. Pulled it off and of course the horn doesn't work now. Toyota part number for the contact is 45146-35070 aaaaaaannnddd is a nada-- no bueno. Any ideas or a different number from a different application that will work???

Called the Toyota Dealer back and got a line on the part 500 miles away. Talking to the other dealer ---he knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me the correct part number. 84312-20011 which is available through the warehouse - about 15.00. yea I can pass safety inspection now without cobbling something together to make a beep

Sorry you had to answer your own question. I just saw your post. Thanks for posting the info. Helps future searchers. I found out after looking forever. Probably because it's a pin that's called a plate. Frustrating.
