Horn, Dashlight, Tail light issues
My 1992 Toyota Pickup 2WD 22RE (as base model can be, no passenger mirror, manual steering, etc.) dash and tail lights do not turn on.
The CEL and other lights do work. Brakes, turn signals, hazards, headlights, and horn works. I checked the fuse under the kicker panel 15A is good to go. I've also replaced it with another 15A fuse just in case, still doesn't work.
This problem occurred not too long after I replaced a relay that I presumed was the horn & hazard lights relay under the kicker panel. This relay was replaced due to my horn not functioning even though the hazards worked. After replacing the relay the horn works.
I'm not sure how similar the wiring is compared to the 93 model, but after replacing the relay, I noticed on the 93 FSM (link provided below) the relay I replaced was the tail light relay, in Junction Block 1 relay B (page BE6). The 93 FSM states that relay C is the horn relay. If this is true how does replacing a tail light relay enable the operation of the horn? Is the 93 FSM appropriate for my 92 model?

I'm stuck now and don't know what I'm supposed to check. I did notice the relay I replaced is fairly warm. Do not know if that means anything.
Where and what am I supposed to inspect to identify what my problem is?

Is it possible when you changed relays you bumped or moved the tail light relay enough it no longer works??
If the coil in that relay was on the way out it might not have taken much to cause it to fail .

Would the relay still make an audible click if it was bad? I was driving today and the taillights and dash light turned on for a few minutes then shut off.

Sure then you might be hearing another relay pull in.
The contacts could be bad but the coil still energizes .
It could work till it gets warm then quit.
Might be a poor ground in the circuit causing the coil to drop out.
You do understand how relays work??
