High beam wire on a 95 4runner?

Hey guys,
I'm trying to tap in my hellas to the high beam, so they only come on with my high beams, but I can't find the wire.

anybody know what color it is? if it runs up the fender, or the easiest place to tap into it?

tim

It depends on whether you have DRL or not.

Without DRL then the headlights are ground switched, which means there is one live wire going in and 2 grounds coming out, one for the low and one for the high beams. The red/yellow wire is the high beam, it's the same colour on both lights.

With DRL then the lights are switched normally, on the live side, and then you want the green/white on the left side or the pink/green on the right side.
