Help with Climate control switch?

Had to take my switch apart to replace lights in it. I went too far... now it won't work at all.

Long story ore short I am wondering what grease is used in this photo....

Not my photo... but it's the same part.

I don't think it's dielectric or this would not conduct.... right? Dielectric is an insulator generally.

Pretty sure I am not getting conduction at all here. My grease is pretty much gone- do to my handling.

Did you bend things when you took it apart ??

Maybe broke something??

The lack of grease will not keep it from working like it should just cause faster wear of the contact area .

Just look for a conductive grease but you don`t need much .
