Desperate for help, no power

Hello Forum!
I am new to this and am desperately seeking help.
I am planning on selling my Toyota Tacoma 1996. I had people a couple people look at it so far, everything went fine, they just offered me not enough so I thought: lets get another couple fellows over here tonight and let them test drive it, since they seemed very interested.
1st guy showed up and tried to start it and got key majorly stuck which took me 10 minutes to remove the key and now it won't turn over to 'start' anymore, something is tweeked! Never happened to me before, so I ended up removing the ignition lock cylinder. GREAT!
Called 2nd guy told him Toyota is not running, sorry come back later ;(
After lots of cursing etc. I tried to 'start' it manually... VERY bad idea.
I hooked up the ?alternator? to the positive battery, instead of the starter omfg I was not thinking full of madness, BAHM, sparks flying everywhere.
Noticed my alt fuse 80A was blown, wonder why?... dumb me <.<
Attempted to remove it and broke the whole thing apart, as I later read up it is bolted in from underneath the fuse box.
I am getting 0 power, I can turn on head lights, but tail lights won't shine.
Before I blew that fuse at least radio etc. was still getting power and dash etc.

So now the questions...
1)I checked fusible link cable, seems fine, is it possible that if ALT 80A fuse is blown it cuts out all the power to everything, even with truck not running?
2)Do 96 tacomas have key chips or can I just get a regular lock cylinder for it with belonging keys?

I am so dumb, I should have thought about it, before getting in there with battery cables <.< now I am dealing with power problems and broken igniton. Damn

I really need help! Please.

Alright folks, close this thread please.

Bought new 80amp fuse, new fusial linkage and a new lock cylinder works great again. No chip in key. Repair ran me 160$ in parts and my labour and swearing.
