Both are coming on under braking...the only thing I could think is a fiend alternator, battery, or both.

The cars also wont start unless jumped.

And on top of that, im getting a weird whining from the starter area when driving...its an electrical sounding whine, that changes pitch with different throttle positions.

Any idea?

Im going in to get the battery tested tommorow.

 

it sounds like you could use some new alternator brushes. that what usually makes the brake & battery light come on at the same time...

 

I would bet either the alternator or battery is the culprit (bet is on alt).
