ok ill start off i drove all day today replace my power steering line went to start no power to anything finally i turn key off and on and there is power but will not crank or it will crank about 4 times and lose all power so i try again this time turn lights on and power kicks off imediatley any time i get power from turning ignition on and off and turn any thing on it loses all power im to the point of taking it to the salvage yard its an 88 toy pu 4x4 with 22re

also forgot to mention that anytime i try to turn anything on when i do have power it kills all power

I'm no expert on electrics, but did you try all the basics?

I.E.
Are the grounds attatched to the battery?
Perhaps the battery was surged and killed itself?
Wires could be loose...
Have you tried starting it or running electrics with different batteries?

 

yes i tried all the basics and i tracked it down. i lost the ground to the body so re grounded it and im back on the road
