Clock Wiring + H/Unit ?

Clock Wiring + H/Unit ?
98 3.4 L Ltd ( 4x4 )

My factory clock and a/m head unit keep going out , together . It did this last year but before I got to look at things , it magically healed itself ( yah one of those things ) .
Now it's come back to say HI , again . I looked on my schematics but cannot see the wiring for the factory clock anywhere .
Anyone experience a dual failure like this ? Just trying to grab an idea before tearing things up .
( on the way home from work yesterday I honked at my buddy and both clock and stereo came on lol ) . Its that kinda issue .
