Check engine light tied to EFI???
Every once in a while, my check engine light comes, especially if I go 4wheeling with our 4runner. After the check engine light comes, I pull the fuse to the EFI and replace it and the light goes away. Any thoughts on what is causing this??

Next time it comes on. Drive to an Autozone or Advanced auto. They will hook up a scan tool for free (in the hopes of getting your buisness), and give you a printout of the exact code/s that are causing the light to come on. Post up the codes here and we can help further.
By pulling the EFI fuse, you are reseting the computer memory, which turns off the stored code in the computer. Then once the trouble condition returns the CEL will light back up.
