changed out driver signal lights
i just bought this truck two weeks ago and i had to change out the rear signal light so i figured i might as well do all the bulbs since i had LED's in my 82 pickup and everything seemed fine until the front signal light. what would happen is when i turn the right way to signal it does the flash faster like in my other truck as if i had a burnt out bulb but on the driver side as soon as i changed the bulb out the flasher would stay on always and not flash. so has anyone ever come across this problem. I can't send my truck in to be safetied until this issue is resolved so any help is appreciated.

i guess what my problem was, was that when i put in LED bulbs there wasn't enough resistance and then it would just stay on all the time i guess i will have to find out what resistor i need to put in line to even out the current

6 ohm, 50 watt resistor, one per side is what you need. I have a pair I wired up to a 4-pin trailer wiring socket that I had installed on my '85. No longer need it but if you have a trailer wiring plug, this would plug right in.
