Brake lights? 84 pickup

Got a question for a lighting gurus. I have noticed the brake lights on my truck(84 pickup) are not working all the time. They do seem to work sometimes leading me to believe a loose connection is the culprit. Working a bunch and don't have a lot of time to tinker with it. Any ideas where the best places to start looking would be.

First thing I would check is that the switch did not vibrate loose.

Thanks I believe I got it figured out. I removed the brake switch at the top of the pedal and then put it back on and seems to be working for now.

How did you get access to that switch? Seems to be in a precarious
location.

Well I laid on my back on the drivers side floor and used a flash light to see it. If I can do it you can. I also put some electrical gel stuff to better the connection and make sure it doesn't happen again. Been working for a couple months now no problem.
