Ok, Here's the current status of the wiring work I've been doing. Putting a kill into the Circuit Open relay, and other work such as Aux fuse panel mounted behind the pass kick panel, with cont. + power for things such as inverter and CB.

The ACC circuit that runs the CIG is not working now, but it was. I must have shorted it while testing with my meter in the 'cont.' position? Who knows. All I know is that it WAS working,--providing power with the key in the ACC position,-- and now those R-G (red-green) wires (CIG and Radio) are not working with key in ACC.

I have removed the fuses from the driver side fuse panel and tested them, they are all fine. Which one is actually the CIG fuse? I don't know, nothing is labeled.

The L-R wire (blue/red) coming from the IGN switch (large 12g wire under steering wheel) IS working with ACC on, so I know the IGN switch is working. I could tap in here, but it's driving me crazy that my CIG and radio feeds aren't working now.

Any ideas? A different fuseable link?

Interesting, that's where there is a 90 degree fuse tap. Whoever had the truck before me put this tap in there and it goes go a wire on the brake light switch (bottom wire). Why would they need to send power there? Removing the tap and putting the fuse in correctly returns power to the CIG but not the radio circuit.

Looks like a cob job to be investigated...yuk.

 

Figured it out. Whoever had it wanted the brake lights to be inoperable without the key on, so they powered them off the CIG ACC circuit. That's my best guess. So back to normal. Thanks 4Crawler for yet again your information and dedication to the Yota community.
