95.5 Headlights wont dim, HELP

I posted this in another section I believe was the wrong section, I have a 1995.5 tacoma 4x4 ext cab. When I turn the lights on dim they both go out but the high beam indicator stays on on the dash. Turn signals work perfect, everything except when I go to dim the light I have no head lights. Ive checked the fuses, and the headlight relay looks to be in perfect working condition. High beams work excellent. before I drop 150 on a combination switch I figured Id ask the profesionals, Thanks for any help!!!!

Time to break out the Meter .

How long has this been happening??

Some times the switch contacts corrode enough to not close the circuit

Wires break or corrode at the head light bulbs

Then check wire colors at headlight connectors if they match attached

Then take voltage checks according to this: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116.../#post52379293
