Is the O2 sensor on the 90 on the exhaust manifold or is it on the catalytic converter? My 86 has a 3 wire ( on the cat) but the later models have the 4 wire (on the exh.man). If the harness is original to the truck then I'd venture to say that you need the O2 and comp from the 90. I had a similar situation when I replaced the engine from a carb'ed truck with an EFI Celica engine, I just left the "extra" O2 sensor unhooked! Make sense?

it is on the exhaust manifold I dont think the people that did the swap b4 I did the rebuild knew what they were going. I think (not sure) the 90 model had has a fuel injected engine. But, the wiring harness is from somethhing 95+... Do you know where i can get a wiring harness that would match this truck up with the engine so I can finally drive it and what about the computer do I need a 94 model computer??
