93' v6 p/u oxygen sensor interchangeable w/ 91 o2 sensor?

93' v6 p/u oxygen sensor interchangeable w/ 91 o2 sensor?
I think my old sensor went out. I am getting a code 25. My friend gave me his o2 sensor out of his 93 p/u. Everything on the o2 sensors matches except for the "clip". Can I solder the old clip to the newer sensor harness? Will this work to pass smog? Thank you.

Generally OK, some sensors come without any connector at all. Just need to be sure and match up the old and new wires:
