´89 diesel popping "engine" fuse and not charging batteries.
My ´90 Hilux has an ´89 diesel, the 2L motor.
Tonight I was driving down a bumpy gravel road and the motor got revved pretty high, at that moment the T-Belt, battery and fuelfilter light came on and wouln´t turn off.
All I know now is that the fuse marked as "engine" and is located in the kickpanel, keeps popping. It´s supposed to be a 10A fuse but I tried as high as 30A and they all popped instantly. If I pull out the "Charge" fuse in the fusepanel in the enginebay, the lights go out, but the "engine" fuse still burns out.
Do you think I hurt my alternator with the high revs?
What could be the problem?
