22rte wired harness question

Hi. I found a 22rte wire engine harness to the dash harness for pretty cheap. It doesn't come with a cluster but I'm fine with that, just going to use after market guages.

I have a 83 22r. I rather biuld from here. I already have an ecu, air/fuel guage, turbo timer, boost controller etc.
I haven't had these trucks for long, but would the engine harness bolt up to the major sensor on 22r long block? I will be running a a MAP sensor.

I might have to worry about running my own wires for the fuel pump I assume (ex: mr2 the fuel harness is a connected to the dash harness).

Thanks.

I am thinking of getting a built 22r locally for cheap, 700 miles top on it that's been sitting for 1.5 years.

I am getting a whole mikuni set.

I am thinking about getting this itb from extrudabody converting the carb to fuel injection later.

I have a vipec v44 ems.

The intake plenum and exhuast manifold would be custom.

I want to get this 22rte to start out with the wiring harness for my 83 22r. Advise? Am I heading the write way with this 22rte harness? Thanks.

Trying to weight the cost and small stuff in the long run.

83 22r? Manual fuel pump, no electrics, few sensors! Putting a 22rte harness in a 83 can be done, but it's going to be a lot of work. First off how are you at reading wiring diagrams and building electrical circuits that do not exist in the 83? If you are running a stock 22rte ECU the map sensor is out of the question, the 22rte's regardless of the year only use air flow meters. To run a map sensor you have to go to a piggyback or a stand alone engine control system such as megasquirt.
There is a guy on 22rte .com who had a tremendous amount of knowledge of the GM 4 cylinder fuel injected engines and he has a 22rte, running a map sensor, controlled by a GM ECU and running GM sensors. Here is the link

I'm not telling you what you want to do can't be done....it's just not going to be done in a weekend!

Thanks.

Idk really, lol. I am thinking about if it's possible with the harness I am going to get it. I not too good with electrical, I can wire an alarm and auto start. I'm probably under estimating parts I need and the amount of money needed to turbo vs reliability and power.
