22r tach wire into sr5 cluster

22r tach wire into sr5 cluster

I have an 86 22r, got the sr5 cluster out of my 87 22re runner... just wondering if anyone knows where i would wire it into the factory harness?? i found countless threads and how to's but couldnt find anything on this... please help!!

ok i got it!! ... A6 slot... in the blue clip (right above the tach) for those of you also searching just look at the back of the cluster and it says "A1" i think? or something like that on one side, and A 12 on the other, just count 6 over from A1 and there ya go. Now im just going to drive around and enjoy life with a tach!!!

not sure what side of the coil actually, it had a wire coming off of it already when i bought it so i ran with it, everything works great now. Just need the oil pressure sender and im good!

any luck with this I have the same problem... and what about the oil sending unit... I have had my SR5 clusher hooked up for a year cause my last speedo was busted and both tach and oil pressure gauge are not working...
