97 4runner alarm, 6 beeps in the night

I have a 97 4runner Limited that has a securikey+ alarm system. It has developed a habit of giving 6 ( think) rapid beeps on the horn in about 3 second late at night, say about midnight to 3 am. Otherwise it functions ok as far as I can see. Have tried to find what this indicates, but no success. Have got out of bed to check the doors, but no sign of any problem. Have looked for the manual but there is nothing with the car, on line I don't seem to find the answer.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Man, that sucks. Those things have a mind of their own. Just be thankful you don't have remote start. Who knows where that thing would wonder off to.
