Looking for help in getting this gasket to work:



I had an installer bring a windshield, but it was too large. Apparently, the glue-in type is larger than the gasket type.

The glue-in type is part number 56111-89135.

I think the right windshield would be 56111-89132-83. That is the one that works with the dam in markets outside the US.

Does anyone have experience with this who can confirm that this windshield (56111-89132-83) will work with a gasket on an 86?

The picture is a truck where the gasket is installed (not my truck) and somehow, they made it work.

A qualified/skilled glass installer should have no problem altering the shape to make the glass fit..
