I am pretty sure I got this pict from here and saved it with a note to the forum member. I can't seem to find the thread now. Can anyone help identify who's truck or ultimately who makes this front bumper?

Honestly, i dont believe that is Jeffs work, as the BAJA has different style hoops, and his D Rings are always up higher, plus the winch mounting location is off. he also doesnt make mounts for aftermarket turn signals he lets you run your stock signals.

then again, could be an early variation, it does show similarities with mine.

If the date in the pic is correct (most likely isn't) then there is a chance its an early prototype.

So I guess if you want one close to that one get a badlands? Is that the consensus?

 

Thanks for all the input. I thought it might be a badlands, but there are just too many little differences. I really like the exacting specs of this one and was curious if it was a one-off.

I like the two front vertical rails that I would be able to weld some tabs up to and retain my skid plate up front.

I'm surprised the truck owner hasn't chimed in yet since he had just posted that pict a week or two back.

 

Hey, that used to be my old 4runner! I bought it from a yotatech member in 06 or 07, his sn is bain.
He built the bumper himself. That pic was his before he sold it.

 

...with a side of bad news. Thaks for id'ing the owner or past owner. It sux that it was a one off, I really like it and am now going to have to build it/ have it built myself.

Oh well, maybe I can get addicted or badlands to make it up for me. fingers crossed!
