The 2 door is like a UFO, youre lucky if you see one in youre lifetime. Overall it's basically the same though. I do think that the 4 door looks better.

You already know I envy you, no need to rub it in my face

Now, if I only had a brother to roll my 3rd gen for me....

2nd gen! No doubt about it.

I like them all though. I would really like to have one of each when I win the lottery one day...

I think the 2 doors outnumber the 4 doors where I live. Seriously.

I have only seen two in central Oregon (ever) and there are probably at least 500 2nd gen 4runners around!

It is so hard to choose. I like the 1st gen for the obviouse reason, I like the look of the 2nd, and I like the look and the 3.4 of the 3rd. The 4th gens are awsome aswell. But I am gonna say 1st gen takes the prize.

1st & 2nd gens look like typical jap trucks. 3rd gens are OK, but 4th gens look best to me. Go figure..I deliberately waited for the 4th gen body style.

Im gonna have to go with the 1st gens. I love the removable top and rollbar and the overall look of them. But i also like the look of my 2nd gen, just wish it had the 3.4.

Defiantely 1st gen.

Naturally, the 2nd gen would be my choice.

But my dad's 5th gen is pretty sweet, too...

I prefer 2nd (naturally), but I like them all. This poll IS about body style, not engines, appointments, etc. I think the 2nd generation have aged gracefully. Regarding 1st, I see them all the time around here, but they are ROUGH.

I may prefer to drive a 3rd Gen, but as the poll is about astethics, then its got to be a post-facelift (92 model year only I think) 3dr 2nd Gen everytime.
