I've got an 86' 22r 4x4 pickup. When I bought the truck a month ago this vacuum line was detached, haven't noticed until now. When I plug it in my engine hiccups while going up hill in high RPMs. When I unplug it it does better. Anyone know what this is for? Device is in center of screen, both plugged and unplugged.

It connects to the lime-green relay thing behind it...

 

Anyone have an idea? Should leave the vacuum line plugged in or does it not matter much?

I'm not familiar with the 22R, but that looks like (if you have) a cruise control module.

 

Not familiar with the 22r and with the cable I think it could be for Cruise Control but not for sure. You are in th right section. Nothing else it will bump you to top where someone else might know.

 

What does the other end of the vacuum hose hook to?
