My 95 short bed 4x4, single cab was like 3200 with driver and fuel. Believe my 81 4x4 single cab, short bed was around 2800. It's been a while though. My dad's extra cab taco 98 is like 4400 empty.

 

I couldn't see the extended cab and extra 1.5' of frame weighing more then 300lbs.
And even that seems like a lot.

 

Before ARB, my taco weighed in at 3700 lbs ish empty, with the crap I haul around and the junk in the cab, probably up to over 4000 usually. I think my sticker says 3650 gross weight?

The sequoia is supposed to have a gross weight of 6,000lbs but I'm thinking it's more than that. Almost weighed on a scale going across eastern WA on a recent road trip but was in a hurry to get back on the road.
