Ok, been at this for a few days. Its on marlin, pirate, ttora, and now here. I recently bought an 88 runner, 22re, 5spd, man hubs. The pre owner was driving, hit brakes with blinker on, and all gauges and lights in dash shut off. Charge light came on. Replaced alt, charge light went off. Still no gauges, or anything. Ran it in his yard, tail light relay got so hot it burned him (dunno if this is a seperate issue) he took it for a test drive, it killed the battery. I have checked all fuses, replaced engine fuse in a futile effort to fix it. All wiring looks good, fuses check out, truck runs GREAT with a battery in it. No dash lights come on, not even the charge light, ever. No gauges, and no reverse lights. Tail lights act VERY funny, sometimes on no matter what, sometimes wont work at all. My clutch cancel works, heater, ac, fan, and motor all work fine. Someone said to look at the ig1 circuit. I believe ig1 means the first part of the circuit, so I checked the tumbler b/y wire, and it had power.
