My truck had a little bit of a getting hot problem going up steep grades, 33's and stock gears manual tranny, and everything under the hood is good i decided to try out some redline water wetter for my trip to nevada from ca, I made a bunch of climbs the highest to 8000 ft, uphill for about 45 minutes with about 400 lbs in the bed and a passenger, 3rd gear on the wood the whole time and the temp gauge never moved. This stuff is a really good product i definately recomend it.

+1, pretty much standard fill for amateur road racers.

I stopped using it when Toyota changed to extended life 100K mile coolant though. I don't think that stuff is supposed to be exposed to air.

 

Yep use it in my bike and jeep. cools far better than antifreeze in the summer. In winter I do drain it and replace with antifreeze. Can't beat it in the summer though

so i looked it up 19.95 for a 1/2 gal so do I use it straight and dump my anti freeze or mix it with my anti freeze is thier a mix ratio any tricks? do's? donts?

 

Its 12oz for $10. 128oz in a gallon.

The 64oz for $19.99 is a premix of regular water and water wetter.

You'd be better off mixing it yourself.

1 12oz bottle treats 3 to 5 gallons of water.

Use 1 gallon to fill your entire system.

Works best with plain water, but I'd mix it with antifreeze, at least in the winter, unless you live somewhere that doest get below freezing.
