I live in the BVI, a country with effectively no copyright laws.

As such, we are the lucky recipients of Great Wall cars, a Chinese brand that copies other manufacturers' successful models part for part then renames them.

They are really pieces of crap, and fall apart pretty quickly.

I got a lift in a 6 year old Deer the other day, and there was barely a piece of interior trim still attached in the cabin, bits hanging off everywhere

Most of the police cars in Gambia, West Africa were those fake Great Wall pickups. I think China gave them in trade for Gambia's fishing rights.

 

I hate to say this but....even the foreign militia boys, camel jockeys and terrorists are smart enough to run genuine Toyotas in the deserts...
