Video of my Lexus V8 4Runner - New Vids added!!!

Finally got a vid of my 4Runner so you's can here just how sweet the lexus V8's sound at full revs. It was in a small mud run event at a Local 4x4 park, and I wasn't going to hard, but atleast you can here the V8 at full noise at the end. (you'll need to turn the volume up to here it)

Enjoy!

Where you scared that you may tip towards the tail end of that run?

Yeah mate, they had been a phew close calls in that bottom rut already, so took it very easy.....I didn't think I went that easy but, it looks terrible in the Vid....but anyway, I wasn't going in that event to win.......I prefer events without corners....and got 3rd place in the mud drags held the same weekend.

Heres a pic of the same run, and you can kinda see the rut running around the bottom of that last corner....a lot of trucks slid into that hard.....it's just not worth the risk.

That is a brute of a 4runner. Looks like your front tire was off the ground in the turn!

Just the standard exhaust manifolds, as there isn't much room for anything else....but would like to get some custom ones some day.....then twin 2.5" into twin 3" Cats, then joins into a single 3" mandrel bent after the xfer with a small straight through muffler.....it's fairly loud when you getting into it, but isn't intrusive when cruising around town or on the highway.

Funny you should mention that....since installing the BJ Spacers and Cruiser Coils, and also removing the rear sway bar, it seems to lift the inside front wheel easily when pushing hard around a corner.......I'm guessing its cause the rear sway bar is removed, so I will be getting the sway-bar links lengthed and will re-install it....hopefully that fixes it....it feels real dodgy when you not expecting it to happen.

Just about anything.....it was a weekend of events for just your average 4x4, and just having fun. These are the trucks I crusied down with, a Bundera, my 4runner, Disco, Extra Cab Lux, and Dual Cab Lux. All of these competed in varous events....

There will be more pics and vids posted up on the Downunder4x4 forum if you want to check it out. I'll also try and get some vids of my mates Lexus V8 4Runner, its not as 'bling' as mine, and is used in the more serous offroad stuff, so he was going hard all weekend!!
