Vibration/ Brake issues

Alright Truck in question is a 96 T100 4x4 5spd 196,000 miles

Things replaced:
- front brakes, rotors + calipers
- Rear Drums + shoes
- Tie rod ends (inner and outer)
- New tires general grabber 31s
- Driveshaft carrier bearing
- Left side upper ball joint (working on replacing all)
- Front shocks

I have two issues mainly

When braking I get a bad vibration in the truck, I determined it's coming from the rear, because If I apply the E-brake while moving the truck beings to vibrate.

Also when I'm driving at around 55mph the truck will shake and will smooth out at around 60-65 somewhat.

things to note:
-I checked the rear drive shaft U-joints they all seem to be solid.
-I went through 2 sets of new drums and still have this problem
-Wheel bearings are tight ( no slop)
-vibration is in gear and out of gear
-vibration occured BEFORE new tires and before other fixes
-Driveshaft was marked an put back exacty as before (including in relation to the axle/trans)

I also noticed that the rear axle hubs have a tiny amount of in/out play maybe like a mm or two. Is that normal?

This is really pissing me off, because now I'm thinking it's something serious, possibly with the rear end.

It sounds like your drums are out of round to me. The inside surface that the shoes press outward against can become out of round. Then when you hit the brakes it will vibrate much like warped front rotors, if you know what they feel like. Go to a shop and ask if they have a brake lathe and if they can tell you whether or not your rear brake drums are out of round. They can cut it down a little bit until it is perfectly round.

You would be suprised. Guys dont give a these days. Unless you know them personaly you might want to recheck it. How many weight are on your wheels? and size weights?
Has any thing youve done helped it any?
Also if you take your drums to a shop make sure they barley cut them or they will take to much out to get it right and leave you with a thin drum due to lazyness.
How often do you rotate your tires? are they cupped and out of shape?
