Using Cardboard to Fiberglass?

Was just curious if anyone has used cardboard to build a structure for fiberglass work, found this site: http://microship.com/resources/cardb...omposites.html And was just wondering if anyone thinks it would work for building a center console.. I've never messed with fiberglass before so I don't know much about it, and I don't have much space or very many tools to use the preferred methods.
Input would be great, thanks.

Use felt and dowels and those little premade round or oval wood frames for pictures.

Build the structure, drape the felt pour on the resin. Sand. Shape. Use body filler to smooth everything out. You won't even need fiberglass matt or cloth. Easy peezy.
