Toyota a ford?????
I keep gettin people talkin crap about Toyota's and ive had more than one person tell me Toyota was owned by Ford. is this just a load of bullcrap or is it true???

ford owns lincoln, mercury and volvo. they used to own land rover and jaguar but have since sold their shares in those companies. tell your friend he is a retard and to not open his mouth when he doesnt know what he is talking about

Bad thing is ive had excactlly 4 people in the last 3 weeks try too tell me this and i knew it sounded too stupid too be true, just wanted to make sure before i told them to go eat some waffles

Yeah, Ford sold off a chunk of Mazda, they're down to 13% ownership, give-or-take.
At the highest it was close to 35% ownership, which was when Mazda B-series pickups became rebadged Ford Rangers.
You know.. all Japanese companies look alike!

GMC Canyon/Chevy Colorado, look at the wheel well shape/tailgate styling. then look at the newer Tacoma, coincidence? or not?
