Hi all!

I've been searching all morning thru "e-locker" threads, but haven't found any info on this.

Can you swap an axle, complete or select pieces, from some 3rd gen type Toy with factory elocker, into a 1st gen (88 specifically) 4runner?

I'm wondering if I could shop for something like a wrecked '99 4runner or similar and could i swap the whole rear axle and get a rear elocker set up relatively easy? What gearing would it come with?

What y'all think?

I and found a post with these links:
