too much oil

My truck has too much oil in it. (don't ask) I can't get under the truck so can I take the dip stick out and run it without it to get some of it out? Changing the oil would be ideal but I am having a hard time finding a place for that.
Thank you for any help

Running without dipstick won't help.
How much too full is it??
A quart or so overfilled probably won't hurt anything, but if its really seriously overfilled to the point where the rotating crankshaft can froth the oil, your engine might be damaged if you run it.
Best to drain some out.

As stated above, taking out the dip stick wont do anything.

How much oil is in there?

Is a 30$ oil change really worth saving if it kills your engine?

Just drain some out and keep on truckin.

X2 all of this. Why can't you get under your truck?

It is a quart overfilled. I am too old and decrepit to get under it. 30 dollars is great, where do I go? Walmart has done damage to my truck more than once. I would go to another one but I definitely notice a difference in the way it is running with the extra oil so I don't want to drive far. There is a place I can go but he puts off market oil in his change, refurbished? I really thought it would spit it out the dip stick hole.
I will look again for a close place to get it changed. Thanks for the answers!! Another question I have is it is a stick shift and I fill the reservoir but I don't know if because it is manual if it also needs transmission fluid? I looked for a dip stick but couldn't find it.
Thank you for your answers. :O)

Transmission uses fluid, Gear oil, But you change/check it from underneath.

Did a shop over fill your truck? If so I would take it back to them re do it.

What reservoir did you fill, and what did you put in it?

Where are you located? Many shops do under $30 oil changes. How many miles on the truck? Our local Toyota dealer has a "200,000 miles club" where they give discounted services to higher mileage cars, such as a $20 oil change.

Clutch fluid is brake fluid, I have done that for years but I did think at one time I had to use tranny fluid on one of my trucks. approx 85,000 although there seems to be a discrepancy. I don't remember anyone checking the gear oil during an oil change before? I am in phoenix and do not drive far distances as the truck runs warm and I don't have any ac. The warm means it does surpass the middle line which makes me nervous so I don't go more than 5 miles radius from my house. I am at thomas and 35th ave and I am concerned about mechanics because I have yet to find an honest one. Even in the big shops like walmart they all seem to be dishonest. They see a woman coming and figure a dope walked in that they can take advantage of. I have serviced my autos as much as I can in my life but physically not anymore. There is much I could still learn as you can see by my post but know more than the average joe.
Thank you for your help. Being 114 outside I don't relish going out for a oil change but I guess I will try the other Walmart who knows maybe I will strike it rich and find an honest.:O) Happy day to you!

Do call your local Toyota dealer and price their oil change. Often, at least here, they have specials that are in the ~30 buck range.
