even if somebody drives it every couple weeks. All the fluids will have to be changed over the course of 4 years. I still say drain EVERYTHING, clean it, wax it. clean the inside, amor-all it, put a car cover on it. take the tires off and stack em. Maybe spray everything with WD40 from time to time to help keep the undercarriage in good shape. hopefully where you're storing it is a temperature/humidity controlled storage space. That would proabably make a huge difference.

im 17 and im going into the military. Marines. no way
in hell the Navy. I will not sell it because i knew i
wanted a 1985 toyota since i was a little kid (my pops
used to have one when they were knew) and i bought
this truck when i was 14 by mowing the neighborhoods
lawns for year, ive put thousands of dollars into it
and just as many hours. Even though im leave in less
then two months i am still adding to it. a flat bed is
being put on right now. if it was for sale some one
would only offer a couple grand for it and thats all i
could probably get out it and they would beat it
untill it dies. its my truck and it will stay my
truck.

My dad leaves near, maybe i can talk him into letting
me keep it in his garage if he can drive it every
couple of weeks.

The tires in matter of fact are brand new and still
have the extra rubber inbetween the treads.

The truck has good paint, minus body damage of course
because i dont know how to drive bassically.

I dont know hwo to post a picture. the computer is telling me that the photo is too big but i dont know how to resize it. if you want to see a picture email me at benc567@yahoo.com

and maybe you can post them for me if your a nice guy? haha

Okay, so that all makes sense. I don't blame you, I wouldn't sell it either.
So, take all the advice above about storing it (if you can't get it driven) and just know that stuff may need extra attention after you return and put it back in service.

Here's a couple of decent how-tos:

Im am sure that you will be able to have a vehicle at your ultimate duty station.
Unless of course its overseas.

FYI, The Department of the Navy writes your paychecks....you might as well get used to the Navy, more than likely you will be working with them at some point in your career.
