Supra motor swap price question

Hey there folks, I am thinking about putting my freshly rebuilt 7m-gte up for sale with all the goodies (complete motor) and harness ecu as a package. I paid for the block and head to be decked, arp studs and new npr pistons with a .020 bore, also new clevite bearings and all brand new gaskets and seals top to bottom. After all this is done, I decided to do a harder swap so I will be selling the motor as a package.

My question to the guys doing swaps, what is that package worth and if it isn't worth that much do you think I should part it out instead?

Feel like I am beating a dead but the guys around here are INSANELY cheap. Had one guy offer me 200 bucks cause he can go to picknpull and get one for less.

List it at what you are into it for and accept upwards of 75% of that if offered?

Sounds like a nice package.

Are you desperate to sell?

From what I have seen I don`t even want to do that swap any more!!!

I have all the goodies as well for all the headaches a 3.4 is much easier and looks much better .

A Rebuilt 7MGTE is kinda like a niche market . Have someone that wants one bad enough you can break even.

It is also pretty hard to prove all the machine work unless the engine is all in pieces which takes away from the price.

I figure if I get scrap price i will be happy. Or use the engine to power a wood splitter

At the moment i have 1000 into machining, and around 500 into parts. I figure it would be best if I put the bottom half of the engine together and take photo's of it all, then ship the head off the block ready to bolt on with the studs OR offer to put it together with the gasket I have and all the intake system put together.

SO..... the question is now... do you people think 1500 for a complete motor with all the tidbits is a good deal (considering its so fresh it needs assembly oil lol)

I had a guy offer me enough money to buy my bare car without question. No motor, trany or wheels and he wants to pay 2200 bucks. I know where there is another car for 600 but will probably be kicked out and single for about 4 weeks.

If the body sells I will be selling the parts and motor complete or in parts for less then what I spent on machining and parts. I will be starting from scratch in that case and having to break another car down.
