Im at a red light and i put it first gear and all of a sudden my whole 4runner starts shaking?

sounds like your driveshafts needs to be balanced

It could be a lot of different things. The last and only time my engine shook really badly was when I plugged one of the injectors after filling up with some bad gas. Those 22RE's shake really bad (and in every gear and at every speed) when they only fire on 3 cylinders.

Clogged fuel filter will also have the same effect, but yeah, it could be ton of things.

Also, what year? What engine? Overheating or just shaking and nothing else?

its a 1995 v6 3.0 liter. its bothering me realy bad. it just starts shaking....my whole car just shakes

check your tranny mount...might be broken

But that's the only symptom, shaking? If it happens along with anything else you notice, that would be a huge help in a diagnosis. I guess also if it's just shaking and nothing else, that also helps. Gets worse with speed, acceleration, or no?

Check the motor and transmission mounts...

Moving or not? Clutch in, out, or just when you start to engage it?

How does it drive normally?

it doesn't shake in neutral, but right after putting it in gear and right after shifting from one gear to another it shakes, i THINK i also feel some loss of power
