which stock rear leaves flex the best?

Well a co-worker told me i should swap out my 81 toyota rear leaves with some newer ifs pickup leaves. I know the overall length is the same but the pin is like an inch different.

Does anyone know or have experience on which will flex better. I will be running them with a shackle lift and a triangulated shock setup with 36's.

I find the '83 and older rear leaves are the best, I run those up front on my '85:

The older springs use 3 thin leaves then 2 overloads, the later use 4 thin leaves and 1 overload. The earlier leaves (top leaf) have more free arch than the later springs (bottom leaf):

For more flex, you can swap out the long overload leaf for a thin leaf out of the later spring pack.
