I got mine yesterday. I showed everyone I know already. I was so excited about it, I couldn't put it down. I haven't noticed a single non-yota in it. I didn't have to thumb trhough any sections of Jeeps....it was awesome.

I'm glad that not everything was covered in the first issue. Hell, if it were, what would I do with the rest of my subscription?

Now I have a question, Is this gonna be 6 issues in the year or 12? I noticed the issues is sept/oct 2005. I hope it is 12 per year, but I guess I can understand why it would be 6.

Sorry, just found it.

Let's support it so I can have my yota fresh and new every month!

Still nothing in Buffalo NY. It is really frustrating that I ordered it three months ago and people who ordered it last week already have it.

Got mine a few days ago and I really like it a lot. It is nice to have a Toyota-only mag with such a wide variety of Toy 4x4's.

Also - for those of you who don't know, TLCA has a great mag called Toyota Trails which is also all Toyota. Even though the TLCA is a LandCruiiser club, they really include any Toyota 4x4 with a low range gear. So, in the Trails magazines, there is a LOT of write ups on older pickups, all Cruisers, some older 4Runners and even the occasional Taco. Just in case any of you didn't know. Check it out:http://www.tlca.org/trails/. Also, the cost of TLCA membership is about the price of a good mag subscription. That is primarily why I joined (and the occasional discount). Hope this is of use to some of you.

to those who are still waiting

Hello everyone,

Just about everything has gone extremely well on the premiere issue and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive--except the damn mailing times. My SWAT team buddy down in San Diego only got his on Sept. 15 (Friday). Insane! And frankly, unacceptable. Although this mailing issue has of course already gone to the slow-a$$ USPS, I am working on some kind of faster service for issue two. No promises, but the Periodical rate is an option versus bulk.

To all the east coast subscribers: first, thanks for subscribing and your patience. I know it sucks when everyone around you seems to be getting theirs and you subscribed and it ISN'T there. For what it's worth, I apologize for the slow mail. I don't know when they will come, but they WILL arrive. Thanks for understanding--I really appreciate your support.

Sincerely,

Dave
