I had ripped my valance and skid plade off on a stump in the woods
and simply drove without one for a while, but I got tired of it looking tacky. It was a while back and I wasnt really "fab" inclined back then lol (or now for that matter)
. But anyway, I just got bored one day and happened to have that stuff laying around lol
I got to spend some quality time with my YOTA at least lol

No I don't work for them. I wish I did. Anything under 8' is considered scrap. All ya gotta do is dig it out of the pile. They won't give ya all of it. They try to share it with everyone that needs it. I built my own rocksliders out of scrape tubing from them. They even gave me 90* elbows for my bends.
Back to the bumper. The total of this bumper may hit 100 pound but I highly doubt it. When I placed it on my truck I was able to lift it up and hold it there while my wife started fastening it.
Trees......... I love emm. I become the laughing stock anymore when were wheeling. If there's a tree in my way from the size of a pop can down I shove it over lol.
When u built my bumper it was built large and heavy enough for a winch to fit in behind. However I still have no winch.
The chain was only put on it for looks. My ole bumper was chrome and I liked it. So I put the chain on it to kinda bring back a little silver. I have used that chain alot tho. It's excellent for hooking to others to for pulling out buddy's.

This may or may not be in here already...
Swapped out the Yota horn for old Chevy horns. Grabbed them out of an 88 Suburban.
Toyota horns are switched ground, Chevys are switched hot. So you need a relay to switch that up. $10 for the horns, $5 for the relay and wiring.
Always turns heads to hear that sound coming from the Toyota. Best and quickest cheap mod I ever did.
With A/C condenser, one horn fits where the old horn one, the other was behind the stock bumper. Now in the middle of my 3.4 swap and A/C delete, both horns fit behind the grille w/o the condenser in the way.

so thanks to a cheap mod i found here. the wedge cup holder mod. it was ok but i improved it
had these wedge cup holders for a while and my gf hated them cuz water bottles would fall out of them when we off road. i have one on each door. i went to hardware store and found these ABS pipe ends that fit right into them perfect. but it would interfere with the top half of the door panel. so i trimmed off enough and now it works great. i love it

Haven't been on here in a bit, added a few new mods.
Finally got some hands-on experience welding. $100 worth a steel, and now have a fully belly skid (Front IFS, Mid-Trans Skid). I was gonna make two separate skids that bolt together, but ended up welding them into one piece. Now it's an 80lb slab of pure beef.
Here's the front skid:

Sneak peak of the whole thing (it's drying right now after I Rusto'd the whole thing)

Mounted my handheld GPS with a RAM Mount ball threaded into the "OH S**T" handle:
