Does anyone know where I can get the rubber that goes around the drivers door jam. I've looked online and called the dealer but cant seem to locate it. It is coming off the corder ( the clip is broken? ). I didnt really want to glue it

Hey, I'm replacing the door rubber on one of my 85 4runners. I don't know how it's supposed to be oriented...
There are hole around the rubber to let air out.
Are the holes supposed to be facing into the cab???
Or facing out of the cab???

I've checked, and they will install both ways. In fact, one of my 85's has the holes out, the one I'm replacing has the holes in.

I wish I had a third 85' 4runner to compare with.

Please please, can somebody go check the seal around the door and tell me if the holes face in or out. Thanks!

 

I'm having an issue with the rubber seals on the cab thats the inside part as well as the outside part that runs from the drivers side door to the rear passenger as well. Any help would be great, this thread is 2 years old LOL. Some advice please.....TIA
