Replacing motor mounts

I've only ever hoisted the engine up when I was taking it completely out, and the tranny was already off...

If I replace my motor mounts, what do I need to disconnect? Is there enough give that I can just jack it up a bit, or do I need to get an engine hoist and disconnect the tranny, or what exactly?

Thanks.

You can leave everything connected. Just lift it up enough to get your mounts out.

That's what I was hoping to hear.

Thanks!
