Reasons why I hate owning a Toyota

I hate that they hold there value!
Around here you can't touch a 4x4 that is running for under $1800 and and if you want a decent truck it's $2500 and up! To find a fixer that isn't running seem to be $1200 or more for a parts truck. You would think a 20 year old truck with 270k on it with a blown head gasket, rust and a ton of missing parts should cost me less then $1500!
Other then that nothing I love it. I even love being the only one that can get in and out of the driveway when it is snowed in and having to drive every one in and out all the time.

I hate that a lot of immature high school punks own these trucks. With their k&n/flowmaster/nos stickers on the back window. Then once they buy one they think they have an ultimate go everywhere vehicle.

the fact that I just can't leave well enough alone - I know it won't break unless I act like a King F*** Tard, so I can keep on modding without having to worry about losing it all

They sent a girl from work to pick me up. So no getting out of going to work. That was the 3rd time in 3yrs Id called in for anything. I later quit that job (and now im unemployed =[ ) after they kept screwing me even tho in 3 yrs ive (ambulance from work) been sick then out one week and that day with the truck. I feel I don't blend in with people talking about there domestic trucks, Jeeps, or anything else. Toyotas are in a class of their own.
When your waiting for a certain thing to fail to buy a new one, it never does.
The astronomical price you pay for a 14 + year old truck in decent shape.
Dump trucks pass me going up-hill.

Oldschool yotas rust way to easily up in canada (salty roads)
Truck is comparable to a school bus full off kids in acceleration
High resale
Extremely hard to not spend money on it, even if it doesn't need it

I also hate it when you have the only operational vehicle. Unless it's someone who always
bashes your truck, then I LOOOOOOOVE IT!!! For instance my stepdad has a Jeep wrangler, he always hates on the yota, and I the Jeep. He has had to replace the transmission and both diffs in it, as well as a few other things. Always telling me that if he broke down, he would rather walk than get a ride in the yota. Then one day the worst happened. Radiator blew and he was stranded. He called me up and told me what happened and where he was, to which I replied: "Well if you start walking now, you might get home before dawn." But he's pretty cool, we get along. He just likes to bash on my trucks. Anytime he does I just remind him of that incident and he usually shuts up My Mom wants him to get a Toyota because "They have spent more money on the jeep in a year than I have since I've owned both of my trucks" Awesome.

hate?....a toyota? YOU? hate owning your toyota??
what would you rather have? an isuzu rodeo?
i could never hate my yota...i almost drowned her in a river. almost hydrolocked it. while it was stuck in the river the alternator was swimming in water for too long and stopped charging. i got pulled out, all the water flowed out from the engine bay and everything worked perfectly again. and those cabin floor plugs are a wonderful thing when the river becomes a part of your floor for a half hour!
hating a toyota?????......tsk tsk
