Rear heater switch amp rating

I have been looking for a switch that will fit the factory switch space below the steering wheel to control both my fog and driving lights. I noticed a rear heater switch from a 4Runner has two positions, but high turns on both high and low. It is fine with me to have either the fog lights or both fog and driving lights on at the same time, but I am wondering if the switch can handle the amperage. Does anyone know if the switch controls the blower motor directly or if it goes through a relay? I cannot seem to find a wiring diagram for the rear heater.
