Rich smell of what? Fuel or coolant? I'd install a new radiator if I were you

Damn, well was it smelling wierd before you went wheeling? Don't know how you could blow a head gasket by gashing your radiator, unless you screw it up by welding it.

Check you oil for coolant, and do a compression check first.

I don't know how bashing your radiator could do it? Take a look at the oil fill cap. See if there's a white residue on the inside if it? Check the stick and see if your over full, or residue of water? Check the rad. to see if the coolant looks contaminated. Drain your oil? Compression check? Vacuum test cooling system? There's a bunch of ways to check. Start with the easy. Good luck.

Did you get coolant blown back onto the engine and exhaust? If so, you are probably just burning it off, hence the smell. It's pretty doubtful that your head gasket went because of the radiator bash (although this does not rule out the possible circumstance that it went at around the same time).

I'd start by looking for coolant on the engine block that looks like it might have gotten blown there by the engine fan.

He probably stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Seriously - I almost rolled mine a couple of weeks ago. Had the inclinometer maxed out to port. Afterwards we had a funky smell. Windshield fluid spilled out of its bottle onto the hot radiator. Anytime you have a bad stuck or you get at really crazy angles you need to double check all your fluids.
