radiator clamp for CV boot???

Any problem with that? What changing ball joints an dboot came off and obviously I cant get the strap back on.

Was thinking that a radiator clamp may hold it. It the most inner one on the driver side if that matters. Clearance doesnt seem to be an issue as its lifted.

i've done it in the past to get by in a pinch, but your probably better off getting the right clamp and tool to fix it properly.

It will work, but not that well. Those cv clips ride inside that little ridge on the joint, it keeps everything locked in place.

I would throw a regular clamp on there
