Pulling a car two blocks with 22RE?
So my dad and I had to push my Mustang about two blocks uphill to my house this morning. Long story, you can find it on Turboford. Anyway, I have a tow strap and a Smittybuilt rear bumper on my Runner, and I'm wondering if I could've towed it the two blocks. Seems to me like 4-Low would have been best, but it is 4x4 on a paved road, so maybe not. Would this have been doable?

If you pushed it there by hand, your rig would have handled it with ease. Two high and light on the throttle would have done just fine. Unless you are also fighting six inches of snow, uphill, while pulling it the two blocks, save four low for the rocks.

Geez, if you pushed it with 2 guys I wouldn't have given it a thought. I've pulled a full sized van with a Pinto 5 miles across town. If my runner couldn't handel it, it would be buried in my back yard. Not bashing you, but if muscle would move it my garden tractor would too.
