saw this in Miami while on a business trip. Looks like an 80s Landcruiser but a diesel?? And, the rear doors look like an Isuzu trooper...didn't Landcruisers have a hatch?

Just curious, it really caught my eye...are these rare? Gray market truck?

 

Imported, the US never got the Prado models

If you think that's cool check out the "Bundera" version from the early eighties (I just wikipedia'd the Prado and came across it.)

 

There were a few of those last year at the toyota pismo jamboree. Damn canadians had to drive down here and make us all jealous.

As soon as I get the funds, I am going to import a Toyota diesel into the States (not sure which model, maybe a dual cab pickup). I want one so bad.

the bunderas are great little trucks i have a 1985 rj70 with 22re there not that rare in australia there just getting really old and rusty
