So, new to the forum and Toyotas. I'm not sure where else to post this thread so here it goes. I have an opportunity to buy a 2000 4Runner Limited, 3.4 and 4wd with e-locker. Cosmetically its in great shape, mechanically it's been very well taken care of (I know the owner) and I know it's never left pavement. My only concern is that it has 216,000 miles on it (180,000 are highway). Is there any life left in it? Thanks in advance!

I'll try and get some pics up. I could have it bought for 4000. Only problems are that the antenna doesn't retract and the light on the head unit is out, also occasionally it has a bad brake shutter.

 

the 3.4 is known to last a long time with reasonable care and maintenance.

I think that a pretty good deal. Keep up regular maintenance and you'll be set
