I have the first year 2nd gen. -1990
The 4cyl engine keeps the speeding tickets away!

I'd say the 3rd has the sexiest body but the 1st gen has more character.

If the 3rd gen had a removable top and a solid front axle like the 1st gen, I get one in a heartbeat.

3rd gen. I had a 2nd gen but sold it 1 1/2 years ago with 210,000 miles on it. It's still running and is being driven harder than I drove it!

A little off topic but i think that TOYOTA should come up with a 2005 4Runner with removable top and Soild axles.

Maybe I'll finally buy a NEW 4runner if they do. Throw in the V8 supercharged and it's a deal!

I need to change my vote!

Subtract one 1st generation and add one 3rd generation!
