OME N86, 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen?
Hi,
I'm becoming a bit confused because I think the shop who installed my suspension on my 2nd Gen made a mistake, three years ago when the truck was of my parent, not mine.
I've front N98 shocks, ok, this is correct, but I've N86 shocks rear, I think those are for a 3rd Gen and the ones for 2nd Gen the N72F right?
From months I'm not happy with my rear flex, I think it's poor, are the 3rd Gen shocks shorter than 2nd Gen ones? Can be this the reason?
A pic of my poor flex:

OME N86's are pretty short for a 2nd Gen...
This is my truck with the OME 901 coils installed, I don't have plus than 0.5'' drop!

I'll be changing my rear shocks soon...
I'm still trying to decide... LC80 OME rear shocks or Rancho RS9000's...

Steve makes a panhard drop bar for 2nd gens. I have the 3rd gen version and I am very pleased.

Take a look at Lysmachia's PH bar in the first pic of her rig:

Note how it's parallel with the axle and note the drop bracket on the right. That's how it should be. Rather than saying 'level' in my earlier post, I should have said parallel to the axle.

Thanks, I'll try to made my own as soon as I have time.
Lysmachia flex is very nice, I want to measure good before buying shocks.
I also need a brake line for the rear, which one do you recommend? All Pro or Marlin?
I've 39cm (15.35'') from rim edge (15x7'') to the fender (Without the fender flares), I don't know how much lift is from stock...
What can I do with the hand brake lines? I tested the flex without shocks and the hand brake lines were limiting the down travel...

Yes, the Marlin kit is 79$ for the three kit.
I think I won't need the front ones, I will only be running BJ Spacers.
BTW I must ask because I've read somebody having problems in the (stupid) technical inspection with metal brake lines...

Hello,
I've measured from one end to the other of my panhard and there's a difference of 14cm in height (5.51'').
I suppose that a drop bracket of 10cm (4'') will be enought... Guys with cruiser coils use 4'' drops, and I've OME 901's...
The OME's gave me 3'' of lift, more than I expected...
